MAANGAMIZI

A key part of our Afrikanism is our connecton to MAAT,  our understanding and nurturing our connection to the ancestors. A powerfully moving film, set in modern Tanzania, that helps us explore and repair that connection is Maagamizi. For those of you who are in Atlanta, I trust you enjoyed the showing at the Auburn Ave Research Library as a part of the International Women of Color Film Festival by Iyàlódè Productions.

 The study group on this powerful production will begin on Thursday, March 24, 2005.  It will be an online conference study group. The time is 7-9 p.m.  A donation of (39.95) is requested. (scholarships available).
